An update on the inland cladoceran and copepod fauna of Belgium, with a note on the importance of temporary waters

摘要: A field survey of mostly small and shallow inland water bodies in Flanders yielded three cladoceran two copepod species new to the fauna Belgium. These records involve Moina (M micrura, M. weismanni), Simocephalus serrulatus, calanoid Mixodiaptomus kupelwieseri cyclopoid Metacyclops minutus. Special attention was paid temporary pools wheel tracks. In sampled spring, zooplankton dominated by Daphnia obtusa, Eucyclops serrulatus and/or Diacyclops bicuspidatus. The crustacean summer macrocopa gracilis, whereas minutus dominant autumn. Even though diversity generally found be low tracks sampled, taxa were rather typical.
