摘要: The transdisciplinary research project LEGATO analysed the combined generation of provisioning, regulating and cultural ecosystem services in wet rice agriculture South-East Asia applied ecological engineering to future-proof it against global change environmental pollution challenges. Due its character sheer size, a systematic stakeholder involvement was inevitable. Starting with identification by snowballing from limited number contacts, we derived multi-level analysis tried involve those identified as relevant. Applying different means aiming at depth involvement, effort can be judged successful. paper describes methods used identify classify stakeholders, key elements management, guided BiodivERsA Stakeholder Activation Handbook. While on local level, farmers extension workers turned out influential interested stakeholders both countries, well (PH) or provincial authorities (VN), differences were manifest higher levels due divergent institutional setting. National-level agents hard get along production chain, including middle men, not really collaboration.
