The temporal pattern of retrograde amnesia in Korsakoff's disease

摘要: A multiple-choice questionnaire about well-known public events of the past 50 years, grouped with respect to time, was administered 11 alcoholic patients Korsakoff9s disease and normal individuals comparable age background. Normal persons perform quite well on questions recent fall off only slightly when tested for more remote memories. In contrast, do very poorly in remembering but improve levels memories become remote. This confirms classical clinical observation raises some important points mechanism memory.
