摘要: Abstract The nucleus 108Sn has been populated via the 54Fe(58Ni, 4p) reaction channel at a beam energy of 243 MeV. high-spin structure is dominated by three ΔI = 2 rotational sequences. These bands can be interpreted in terms particle-hole excitations involving proton g 7 , 9 and h 11 orbitals also aligned neutrons from bottom shell. Lifet measurements have performed using Doppler-shift attenuation method. data enabled quadrupole moments to deduced for two strongest bands. results yield Q0 2.6±0.4 e·b positive-parity band 3.4 ± 0.6 fse·b one proposed negative-parity values deformations β2 0.20 0.26, respectively, obtained are discussed Woods-Saxon total routhian surface calculations.
