摘要: There is a remarkable potential for implementing demand response (DR) strategies several purposes, such as peak load reduction, frequency regulation, etc., by using thermostatically controllable appliances. In this paper, an end-user comfort violation minimization oriented DR strategy residential heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) units proposed. The proposed approach manipulates the temperature set-point of HVAC thermostats aiming to minimize average discomfort among end-users enrolled in program, while satisfying event related requirements serving entity. Besides, fairness allocation also taken into account. Moreover, maintaining factor during contracted period compared base case order reduce rebound effect due shifting use considered within strategy. Last but not least, heat index that considers impact humidity utilized instead ambient dry-bulb through spatio-temporal forecasting approach.
