A Framework for Developing Green Building Rating Tools Based on Pakistan’s Local Context

摘要: Most countries have developed green building rating tools that are based on social, environmental, and economic dimensions. Pakistan followed a similar approach has tool known as Sustainability in Energy Environmental Development (SEED). However, SEED is built western countries’ standards which do not address Pakistan’s unique local context, especially from the cultural governmental perspectives. This research aims to fill this gap by developing holistic framework of incorporates Based an extensive literature review, hypothetical framework, incorporating contexts adding dimensions widely adopted sustainability, was proposed paper. further validated in-depth interviews with multiple stakeholders Pakistan. A qualitative analysis interview results carried out, final key indicators, reflecting all five sustainability. The verified sustainability can be used improve or develop for Pakistan, it also inform other development.
