摘要: Abstract Phenolic matrix is reinforced by unidirectional E-glass fibers with volume fractions of 0.30 and 0.45. Three different surface treatments are applied to the fibers. The composite specimens tested at ambient condition temperatures 100°C 150° 200°C stress levels R(σ min /σ max ) equal 0 0.4 for load frequencies 1.5, 10 25 Hz. Data presented in terms S/N curves assessed degradation modulus based on compliance. For a particular fiber glass treatment fraction, specimen notched room temperature 200°C. A fatigue strength reduction factor K f defined obtained such that results could be compared those unnotched specimens. Notch effect small if hole diameter thickness; it would important larger sizes. Fractured surfaces examined scanning electron microscope.
