摘要: The present study intended to investigate the antipyretic activity of leaf extracts Vitex negundo linn Plant by using yeast induced pyrexia model in Wistar Albino rats. Acute toxicity and phytochemical analysis was carried out well established protocols methods. leaves revealed presence steroids, triterpenoids, alkaloids, fl avonoids, tannins iridiod glycosides. data obtained indicate that Petroleum ether Methanolic a plant linn, at dose 300 mg/kg body weight per oral route (P.O) showed signifi cant reduction provoked elevated temperature. effects were compared with standard drug paracetamol.
