摘要: Abstract The purpose of this case series was to report the clinical outcomes and histologic findings vertical ridge augmentation using a combination titanium mesh, resorbable collagen membrane, recombinant human platelet-derived growth factor BB (rhPDGF-BB). Nineteen patients were included, autogenous bone anorganic bovine particles used. graft mixed with rhPDGF-BB loaded onto bony defect up level adjacent alveolar crest. A pre-adapted mesh placed over grafted region covered leaving no areas exposed. Seventeen exhibited good soft tissue healing. Postoperative flap dehiscence occurred relatively early in healing period one patient, whereas covering membrane exposed during later phase another. During reentry surgery for removal three favorable hard underwent biopsies evaluation augmented just below mesh. mean height 8.6 ± 4.0 mm. This demonstrates remarkable efficacy guided regeneration rhPDGF augmentation, thus expanding indications implant therapy allowing recovery three-dimensional esthetic architecture severely absorbed ridge.
