摘要: A parametrization is needed in global models to account for the sub-grid chemical processes taking place plume of an aircraft, since these can cause conversion a considerable amount emitted NOx reservoir species, such as HNO3. For this purpose, chem- ical conversions nitrogen oxides air- craft were investigated with newly developed model. The calculated fractions dierent compounds formed within 24 hours exhaust plumes, dierentiated domain and season, used modify original aircraft emissions from ANCAT emission inven- tory various we ap- plied Chemistry Transport Model KNMI (CTMK). results obtained imply that neglect modeling leads overestima- tion O3 perturbations. Compared CTMK calculation unmodied emissions, perturbations North Atlantic flight corridor (NAFC) decreased by 15%-55%, due plumes. resulting perturbation 15%- 25%.
