摘要: The long-standing debate on the existence of ancient oceans Mars has been recently revived by evidence for tsunami resurfacing events that date from Late Hesperian geological era. It argued these originated impact large meteorites a deglaciated or nearly ocean present in northern hemisphere Mars. Here we show presence such late faces paradox. If cold, should have entirely frozen shortly after its formation, thus preventing formation events. warm, ice-free produced fluvial erosion terrains much more extensively than previously reported. To solve this apparent paradox, suggest list possible tests and scenarios could help to reconcile constraints climate models with hypothesis. These be tested future dedicated studies.
