摘要: Using the example of SO{sub 2} molecule, we will discuss photodissociation at threshold as a possibility for producing cold molecules or atoms. The fragments SO and O have low excess energy are free radicals with high interest applications like chemistry. behavior is tunable by external fields shows great similarity to Feshbach resonance studies in atom collisions. To take full advantage fragmentation, it necessary dissociate within sample molecules. In our initial experiments demonstrated substantial Stark deceleration 2}.
