摘要: The pleasures of eating were explored in semi-structured interviews with nine female and seven male persons. Qualitative analysis interview transcripts revealed two substantial features hedonic experiences. First, they encompass a variety components: In the stimulus domain, foods, physical environment, social factors; domain organism specific somato-psychic state an attitude towards hedonism; responses preparatory activities, characteristics behavior, positive sensations emotions. Second, depend on external internal conditions. External conditions go far beyond food itself: Physical environment factors amplify food-induced affective reactions embed them individually unique setting. Internal include motivational, cognitive behavioral factors: People who enjoy have explicit intention to enjoy, eat slowly focus upon salient foods environments, often engage activities before, during after meal. Hedonic experiences can best be understood as “appetite gestalten”, i.e. configurations stimuli, variables, responses. A holistic, multi-component perspective is suggested framework for future research.
