Effect of season on the oestrous cycle of cows (Bos indicus) indigenous to northern Nigeria.

摘要: A seasonal effect was demonstrated on the occurrence of oestrus and length oestrous cycles in Bunaji Bokoloji cows. There a gradual lengthening cycle which resulted fewer occurring dry pre-rainy seasons. Oestrous same for (22.89 +/-0.70 days) (23.76 +/- 0.65 cows (P less than 0.05).
