摘要: Seventy-six vital permanent incisors with complicated crown t’ractures in 72 children were assessed clinically and radiographically for the healing of pulp exposures treated by direct capping or pulpotomy. Thirty-eight these teeth had pinpoint exposures, complete roots, capping. Pulpotomy was treatment other 38 that incomplete root development, regardless size exposure. A success rate 92% observed which pulpotomy, 81.5% those ch’rect Traumatic injuries resulting exposure young patients present a challenge treatment. The immediate objective would be selection procedure designed to maintain vitality pulp.1 An exposed can capping, pulpectomy, depending on several factors such as: degree exposure, interval between accident examination, stage development. partial pulpotomy technique has been recently described as another choice successfully treating exposures. ~ exact indication not yet established. It is currently accepted this should only performed where confined small area, occurred more than few hours before, when there are no associated supporting structure2 Incompletely formed pulps trauma presented above conditions have also but considered choice. 4 rationale based assumption inflammation impaired vascularity caused superficial part coronal pulp, while radicular normal. 3 important emphasize first step endodontic therapy?
