Luminescent polystyrene latex nanoparticles doped with β-diketone europium chelate and methacrylic acid

摘要: Abstract Luminescent polystyrene latex NPs with a diameter of 83 nm are prepared by stepwise process chelation β-diketonate europium complexes followed conjugation on poly(St-co-DVB-co-NaSS-co-MAA) [St = styrene; DVB = divinylbenzene; Nass; 4-styrenesulfonic acid sodium salt hydrate; MAA = methacrylic acid] NPs. The composed mixed-ligands β-diketone [1-(2-Naphthoyl)-3,3,3-trifluoroacetone (NTA)], phosphorous-containing neutral ancillary ligand [triphenylphosphine (TPP)] and carboxylic studied the luminescent spectroscopy. PL spectra EuNPs typical Eu3+ show red emission, assigned to transition between first excited state multiplet. integrated intensity ratio 5D0 → 7F2 5D0 → 7F1 is significantly enhanced due hypersensitive effects because strong PS-Eu3+ interaction. MAA retains constant polarization ions against photobleaching group in protects distortion symmetry around influence from pH or chelating Eu3+. cytotoxic EN2T doped PSDNMA evaluated PC12 cell lines Annexin V assay.
