摘要: Abstract A transient response method has been developed for simple and fast physical measurement of concentration volumetric mass-transfer coefficients in gas-liquid dispersions. The involves the use a form step change composition feed gas. resulting liquid phase dispersion is measured by means Clark Electrode [26]which permits rapid accurate analysis oxygen carbon dioxide concentrations gas, blood or any mixture. Experimental are calculated from K L = dξ dθ(θ) ξ sat −ξ)(θ) where electrode output (or recorder reading arbitrary units) ξsat final at saturation. was applied to test mathematical model that estimation kLa values an ensemble bubbles. Simultaneous measurements gas holdup fractions were also made since knowledge average bubble residence time necessary predict with aid this model. predicts lower than observed ones but general gives bound behavior as function operating variables.
