摘要: Abstract EEG spectral analysis of the left parietal lead (P3) was carried out on nine high alpha and four low subjects. A 0.2 c/sec resolution interval used periods 1 min. The most prominent feature spectra a delta peak at about consistently present for all subjects during waking as well sleeping. intensity this increased monotinically from through sleep stages 1, 2, 3 4 with stage REM being equal to intensity. All had sigma 13 majority similar in 4. average show stages, but none waking. There were no consistent theta or beta peaks any sleep. group showed an 10 which decreased 9 REM. During sleep, they generally higher variability than frequencies spectrum. High more frequency I two groups have very intensities delta, bands significant positive correlations their respective Waking band never correlated These results favor hypothesis constant generators increase energy sleep; also fit generator decreases single, best discriminator delta. Alpha add discrimination. However, profiles For subjects, waking, that are almost indistinguishable.
