摘要: The development of sustainable and innovative solutions for the production supply energy at district level is nowadays one main technical challenges. In past, heating cooling networks aimed to achieve greater efficiency through centralization process but with relevant losses related heat transport. Moving towards a higher share renewables lower demand primary requires redesign networks. novel concept cold aims combine advantages centralized distribution system low in supply. This combined effect achieved water relatively temperatures (in range 10–25 °C), which then heated up by decentralized pumps. Moreover, are also very suitable delivery, since supplying can be directly used purposes (i.e., free cooling) or feed chillers high ratio. paper provides preliminary literature review existing qualitatively analyses benefits drawbacks comparison alternatives currently produce level, including evaluation major barriers its further development.
