摘要: A general protocol for rigorous evaluation of diagnostic systems in medicine was applied successfully a comparative study two radiologic techniques. Accuracies computed tomography and radionuclide scanning detecting, localizing, diagnosing brain lesions were assessed with sample patients whom tumor had been suspected. The principal means analysis the "relative operating characteristic," which is unique providing measure accuracy that largely independent decision biases. Computed found to be substantially more accurate than scanning.
