Are we measuring the right end-points? Variables that affect the impact of computerised decision support on patient outcomes: a systematic review.

摘要: Previous reviews of electronic decision-support systems (EDSS) have often treated them as a single category, and factors that may modify their effectiveness EDSS not been examined. The objective was to summarise the evidence associating use computerised decision support improved patient outcomes. PubMed/Medline Database Abstracts were searched for randomised controlled trials (RCT) from 1 January 1994 31 2006. Twenty-four RCT studies 97 reviewed selected, eight examined supporting decisions patients who presented with an acute illness, 16 enrolled chronic conditions.
