摘要: Human oocyte development was evaluated after a reduced time exposure to spermatozoa in vitro. A total of 119 patients were assigned two study groups randomized prospective which each patient's oocytes exposed for either 1 h (group - 58 patients) or the standard 16 incubation period 2 61 patients). The fertilization rate obtained group higher than (285/393, 73%, and 272/410, 66% respectively), suggesting that spermatozoa-oocyte interaction occurs within h. This confirmed vitro using fluorescently labelled normal oocyte-cumulus complexes. Spermatozoa enter cumulus complex 15 min, traverse layer 3 h, first appear cortex at 4 post-insemination. incidence polyspermy (3%) (1%). There no difference cleavage morphological characteristics embryos from both groups. However, when evaluating timing embryo development, generated significantly percentage four five cell compared (55 versus 39% ; P < 0.001), documented 40 implantation pregnancy rates 11 28%, while corresponding 8 15%. suggests favours viability, possibly due decrease potential damage sperm metabolic waste products.
