摘要: The spleen plays a crucial role in the development of immunity to malaria, but pattern recognition receptors (PRRs) splenic effector cells during malaria infection is poorly understood. In present study, we analysed expression selected PRRs from BALB/c mice infected with lethal and non-lethal Plasmodium yoelii strains 17XL 17X, respectively, chabaudi AS strain. results these experiments showed fewer significant changes AS-infected than 17X 17XL-infected mice. Mannose receptor C type 2 (MRC2) increased parasitemia, whereas Toll-like sialoadhesin (Sn) decreased P. AS. contrast, MRC 1 (MRC1), MRC2 EGF-like module containing mucin-like hormone receptor-like sequence (F4/80) parasitemia MRC1 an F4/80 17XL. Furthermore, macrophage collagenous structure CD68 declined rapidly after initial parasitemia. SIGNR1 Sn demonstrated minor variations spleens either Notably, scavenger (Msr1) dendritic cell-associated C-type lectin at both transcript protein levels 50% lethality Msr1 -/- protective for Msr1. Our suggest dual parasite clearance protection infection.
