摘要: Abstract The minimum ignition energy (MIE) is an important parameter when describing explosion characteristics. While the of methane has been studied by many researchers, little information available for elevated temperatures and pressures. In our study, firstly, methane/air mixtures was measured different (30–150 °C) pressures (0.1–0.9 MPa). Then, experimental results were compared with prediction model previously used Coronel et al. Results indicate that in setup, sensitive electrode gap 1 mm equivalence ratio 1. With increasing pressure or temperature, MIE decreases. a high order linear relationship 1/ P 2 , but approximately T . influence on becomes smaller. addition, pressure, effect temperature also fitting formula at able to predict accurately. valid predicting various initial Overall, calculated are about 1.5 times as large values, which acceptable
