An Analysis of Nutritional Label Use in the Southern United States

摘要: Results from a random telephone survey of 1,421 grocery shoppers in the South suggest that 80 percent them used food labels when making purchasing decisions. Overall, information on fat content more frequently than any other labeling information. Label and attribute use were found to be statistically significantly associated with age, educational level, gender, household composition, income, marital status, race.
