摘要: Experiment and theory have shown that the orientational free energy of nematic liquid crystals contains both a translational entropy term an term, which are same order magnitude. It has been proposed recently is due to total attractive interaction energy, modulated by order‐dependent radial correlations between rodlike molecular cores.
