摘要: Notch signalling links the fate of one cell to that an immediate neighbour and consequently controls differentiation, proliferation apoptotic events in multiple metazoan tissues. Perturbations this pathway activity have been linked several human genetic disorders cancers. Recent genome-scale studies Drosophila melanogaster revealed extraordinarily complex network genes can affect activity. This highly interconnected contrasts our traditional view as a simple linear sequence events. Although we now unprecedented insight into way which such fundamental mechanism is controlled by genome, are faced with serious challenges analysing underlying molecular mechanisms signal control.
