Three-Dimensional Numerical Study of a Dual-Mode Scramjet Combustor

摘要: Numerical study is conducted to investigate a dual-mode scramjet combustor. The geometry similar the University of Virginia’s length combustor ducts 10 ramp heights “H”. Hydrogen, methane and ethylene are used in current study. Fuel injected through single unswept with aspect ratio 0.5. Predicted results nonreacting flow as well for reacting presented. Results obtained grid size about 400,000 cells. hydrogen combustion show slight difference than other two types.
