摘要: Abstract The dielectric properties and tunability of the nacreous part clamshell were investigated. Microstructure characterizations reveal that sample shows a “brick-and-mortar” structure composed aragonitic CaCO3 regions bimacromolecule separated by transition consisting crystalline particles surrounded amorphous area. A ferroelectric-like behavior was observed an exciting 79% achieved at 400 °C 500 Hz within small field increment 34 V/cm. Such low scale for near 80% rivals all known tunable dielectrics. Both thermally electrically activated hopping motion oxygen vacancies in multilayered structures leads to low-field tunability. Our results dramatically expand materials offer facile way achieve superior bio-multilayered materials.
