摘要: Defining eligibility for preexposure prophylaxis (PrEP) is key to measuring the degree of PrEP implementation. While clinical exclusion criteria are identical across different guidelines, definitions substantial HIV risk not. In this study, we aimed estimate proportion men who have sex with (MSM) being tested at a community-based voluntary human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) counseling and testing center in Lisbon that would be eligible according guidelines from World Health Organization (WHO), US Public Service Centers Disease Control Prevention (US-CDC), European AIDS Clinical Society (EACS), Portuguese National (PNHS). We used baseline data 3392 HIV-negative MSM valid information on enrolled Cohort MSM—an observational study designed as an open prospective, noninterval cohort—between March 2014 2018. At baseline, was 67.7% US-CDC, 60.6% PNHS 58.9% WHO, 46.5% EACS guidelines. The most frequently met were those related condomless anal intercourse. conclusion, same population, differed by guideline, ranging 67.7%, though if they all seem include well-known predictors seroconversion. These results show both allocation resources approaches individual prediction highly dependent chosen guideline.
