摘要: Abstract: This chapter discusses the current situation, developments and future trends in use of biodegradable biobased plastics packaging for food, beverages other fast-moving consumer items. Areas covered include production, properties processing various types polymer used packaging, versions conventional polymers synthesis monomers, chemicals by routes. Particular emphasis is given to polyethylene, polypropylene polyethylene terepthalate. Definitions standards bioplastics, biodegradability, compostability content are also discussed.
