Mediastinal masses: diagnostic approach

摘要: In most clinical situations the modern radiological approach to a mediastinal mass consists of performing CT scan following chest radiograph. Magnetic resonance imaging is indicated when findings are equivocal and as first-line method in particular such suspected involvement posterior mediastinum. both techniques, tissular components assessed by density or signal intensity analysis, together with precise location, leading edge diagnosis. This review deals mainly differential diagnosis primary neoplasms according MRI findings.
