Brief report: incidence of and risk factors for autistic disorder in neonatal intensive care unit survivors.

摘要: We investigated prospectively the incidence of autistic disorder (AD) in neonatal intensive care unit and risk factors associated with development. The study population included 5,271 children at St. Mary's Hospital diagnosis AD was performed using DSM-III-R criteria. A total 36 prenatal, perinatal, postnatal were evaluated patients AD, 57 cerebral palsy (CP), 214 controls. identified 18 34 per 10,000 (0.34%). This value more than twice highest prevalence previously reported Japan. Children had a significantly higher history meconium aspiration syndrome (p = .0010) Autistic different CP.
