摘要: The immature reticulocyte fraction (IRF) in peripheral blood, as determined by automated analysis, is calculated using the sum of medium and highly fluorescent numbers provides information about erythropoietic activity bone marrow. purpose this study was to investigate erroneously elevated IRF leukemic patients, a Sysmex XE-2100 hematology analyzer (Sysmex, Kobe, Japan). Normal scattergram patterns show regions corresponding reticulocytes located between matured RBCs an upper particle (UPP) region, which continuum non-separated fraction. UPP represents erythroblasts some reticulocytes. As control group, blood taken from patients with benign hematologic diseases, their scattergrams all showed normal pattern; values were less than 100. However, 5 11 leukemia abnormal displayed gap RBC regions. Three flag message such “RET Abn Scattergram”. results these five above For remaining six pattern, not markedly increased, findings present demonstrate that may be indicate hematologists should examine carefully.
