摘要: Amyloodinium ocellatum, a frequently encountered parasite in marine aquaculture, was investigated to determine if infective dinospore stages could be transported aerosol droplets. We used an vivo model incorporating static and dynamic airflow systems found dinospores of A. ocellatum travel droplets (up 440 turn system up 3 m one). This is the first record this transmission pathway for protozoan parasite. It possible that other protozoans can transfer via aerobiological pathway. Management infections aquaculture facilities affected, particularly where tanks ponds are situated close proximity. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
