摘要: This study aimed to determine the factors associated with exercise behavior based on theory of planned (TPB) among sarcopenic elderly people in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur. A total 65 subjects mean ages 67.5±5.2 (men) and 66.1±5.1 (women) years participated this study. Subjects were divided into two groups: 1) group (n=34; 25 men, nine women); 2) control (n=31; 22 women). Structural equation modeling, TPB components, was applied specific that most contribute predict actual toward exercise. Based TPB’s model, attitude (β=0.60) perceived behavioral (β=0.24) major predictors intention men at baseline. Among women, subjective norm (β=0.82) predictor perform After 12 weeks, (men’s, β=0.68; women’s, β=0.24) β=0.12; β=0.87) “Feels healthier exercise” factor improve maintain (β=0.36) women (β=0.49). “Not motivated main barrier men’s The able regarding baseline weeks an intervention program. As a conclusion, is useful model maintenance elderly.
