摘要: We isolated and characterized a pollen-preferential gene, BAN102, from Chinese cabbage analyzed the activity of its promoter. There were three or four copies BAN102 gene in genome that specifically expressed pollen tube. 2137 bp genomic clone comprising 186 bp protein coding region, 1178 bp 5′ 773 bp 3′ non-coding regions. TATA box located at 1071 nt promoter region while polyadenylation signal site 1470 1486 nt region. BLAST search sequence showed was greatest percent similarity with arabinogalactan (AGP23) Arabidopsis thaliana. Promoter analysis using GUS as reporter pollen-specificity resided within −112 to −44 bp proximal transient expression tobacco plants.
