摘要: Assembled monolayer-protected nanoparticles (NPs) possess unique electrical properties that are determined by the coupled effects of their nano-sized electroactive inorganic cores capable donating and accepting electrons organic shells. Core ligand engineering for NP conductance modulation has been extensively explored; however, most studies focus on electron transport not interplay between ion processes. It is demonstrated here electronic- ionic-conducting nanoparticle assemblies can be controlled charge flexibility shell. By using impedance spectroscopy, electronic, mixed ionic responsive film structure-function correlation systematically investigated, this used to provide a prototype volatile gas sensor based combined electronic behavior ligand-functionalized gold NPs.
