摘要: Abstract The U.S. beef and pork industries have achieved dramatic productivity growth in recent decades; however, the supply chain market structure of each industry has evolved different ways. Technological advances been a key reason for growth, with pharmaceutical innovations playing major role. This article canvasses similarities differences how flow through their respective chains documents changes, causes, benefits increased efficiency industry. Past research is summarized broad view livestock policy trade issues are discussed. Such perspective allows consideration what future might hold industry, technological innovation influences product quality, trade, structure.
