摘要: Background: High-risk alcohol use among college students is associated with accidents, partner violence, unwanted sexual encounters, tobacco use, and performance issues. The identification treatment of high-risk drinking a priority for many campuses health centers. goal this study was to test the psychometric properties Alcohol Use Disorders Identification Test (AUDIT) in students. Methods: A convenience sample coming into clinic asked complete 10-question AUDIT then participate research interview. interview focused on assessing abuse dependence by using Composite International Diagnostic Interview Substance Abuse Module timeline follow-back procedures assess 28-day history. Results: total 302 met eligibility criteria agreed study. consisted 185 females (61%) 117 males (39%), mean age 20.3 years. Forty were abstinent, 88 drinkers, 103 12-month history dependence. Receiver operator curves demonstrated that had highest area under cure detecting (0.872) lowest identifying persons lifetime or (0.775). An cutoff score 6 greater sensitivity 91.0% specificity 60.0% detection drinkers. Conclusions: has reasonable student services. This supports population.
