摘要: Abstract We formalized the canonical correspondence between socioeconomic structure and cultural landscape in a large county NE of Spain. The reference units consisted set municipalities, at which scale information is registered. described using multivariate ordination analyses data characterizing physiognomy municipalities. interpreted dispersion these municipalities on plane obtained with main axes. relationship ‘landscape typology’ ‘socioeconomic structure’ was expressed by multiple stepwise regression, where independent variables were descriptors dependent variable coordinates regression equation for each axis. Each allowed us to establish optimum number variables, importance sign these, order characterize variability. encountered presented maps as trend surface analysis, showing ‘classes’ or discrete types landscape. considered hypotheses change indicators and, surfaces base, we calculated resulting changes typology (the position maps). also tested, among others, scenarios based development activities linked abandonment agricultural activities. procedure experimented shows more less high significant dependence different variation tendencies studied its structure. Formalizing this involves 12 used characterization county. models enable convey simulated evaluate implications certain policies typology.
