摘要: The early detection of young people at-risk developing a severe mental illness like schizophrenia offers the opportunity introducing treatment earlier than currently possible. There is some evidence that intervention improves prognosis and functional outcome, or even prevents full clinical manifestation condition in individuals. A key prerequisite to facilitate would be biomarker can reliably predict transition schizophrenia. smaller event-related mismatch negativity (MMN) potential has emerged as one most robust psychophysiological finding akin condition. More recent research further demonstrates MMN, but also P3a amplitudes, are already reduced prodromal phase illness. Several lines pre-clinical support this notion reviewed article together with current obstacles, which still limiting translation MMN into practice.
