摘要: The cure process and the mechanical properties of blends diglycidyl ether bisphenol-A–based epoxy resin hydroxyl terminated, internally epoxidized polybutadiene rubber have been studied. Internal oxirane groups are characterized by a main absorption at 885 cm−1 in infrared spectrum while terminal diepoxide monomer absorb 913 cm−1. In absence prereaction rubber, gelation matrix occurs much faster than any reaction involving internal or groups. Therefore, only weak chemical bonding between particles exists fracture toughness does not show significant improvement. Upon with an excess monomers, 40% improvement value critical stress intensity factor is obtained. However, dynamic spectra these acquired rubbery plateau region uniquely demonstrate that this due to incorporation into network rather presence phase-separated particles. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
