摘要: The natural wetlands in the Changjiang Estuary, China are important ecologically. total area of Estuary amounts to 215000 ha. consist littoral and sandy estuarine island areas, rich biological resources. There 136 species vascular plant, 150 bird, 68 benthic macro-invertebrate wetlands. However, wetland is a vulnerable ecosystem. Development mainly influenced by intensive human reclamation, pollution, movement sediments River, effects tides waves. Investigations have shown that maintaining biodiversity, providing resources for living organisms, purifying environments resisting hazards could be regarded as functions protection It proposed sustainable principles should supported developing future.
