摘要: A Fifth-Generation Computer System (FGCS), as usually understood, requires break-throughs in artificial intelligence and parallel processing. We identify “near-term” FGCS's relying only on existing developments hardware, user interfaces, software techniques integrating databases a wide range of programming paradigms to achieve much the social utility expected long-term variety. these argue that logic is too good be left Japanese: it an economical basis for Western near-term FGCS project.
