摘要: There is provided a method of purifying carbon filamentary structures contaminated with magnetic metal particles. The comprises submitting gaseous phase comprising said particles, to an inhomogeneous field for at least partially trapping thereby reducing the proportion particles present in phase. particularly useful such as multi-wall nanotubes, single-wall nanotubes or fibers. An apparatus also provided.
