摘要: This invention is directed to novel methods for gynecologic embolotherapy. The directly access the blood vessels be embolized transcervically rather than arterially. provide precise delivery of embolizing compositions, and are particularly suited treating uterine fibroids. Kits containing one or more devices transcervical injection an composition also provided. In a preferred embodiment, fluid compositions used. these embolic comprise biocompatible polymer, solvent water insoluble contrast agent. most agent characterized by having average particle size about 10 νm less.
