摘要: OF DISSERTATION SYMPTOM ASSESSMENT AND MANAGEMENT IN PATIENTS WITH HEART FAILURE Patients with heart failure (HF) must monitor and recognize escalating symptoms to manage worsening HF in a timely manner. However, routine symptom monitoring is not commonly performed by this population. Providing diary along an education counseling session may help patients promote interpretation. The accumulated information about changes daily will allow easily compare current status the past without depending on memory can rapidly capture HF. To date, few studies have tested effect of diary. purpose dissertation was develop test intervention improve outcomes patients. Prior testing intervention, preliminary work included: (1) determining impact clusters cardiac event-free survival; (2) evaluating quality existing measures designed for patients; (3) physical items that were often included depressive instrument (4) association between self-care management.
