摘要: Bees provide indispensable pollination services to both agricultural crops and wild plant populations, several species of bees have become important models for the study learning memory, plant-insect interactions social behavior. Orchid (Apidae: Euglossini) are especially fields ecology, evolution, conservation. Here we report nuclear mitochondrial genome sequences orchid bee Euglossa dilemma. dilemma was selected because it is widely distributed, highly abundant, recently naturalized in southeastern United States. We a high-quality assembly 3.3 giga-base genome, an official gene set 15,904 annotations. find high conservation synteny with honey throughout 80 million years divergence time. This genomic resource represents first draft genus Euglossa, thus representing valuable research community.
