摘要: The Hercynian cycle, starting in Late Precambrian times and terminated at the end of Palaeozoic, is associated Iberian Peninsula with deposition a wide variety metallic nonmetallic mineral resources. most famous these are base-metal sulphides Pyrite Belt (Rio Tinto other deposits), tin tungsten (Panasqueira), mercury (Almaden). depositional stage cycle saw accumulation syngenetic deposits, resulting from interplay palaeogeographical, sedimentary volcanic controls. During after following orogenic stage, epigenetic minerals originated through magmatic activity, mostly as direct deposits magmatic-derived fluids also indirectly thermal activation existing rock. In both stages felsic magmatism was dominant agent mineralization, for more important volcanogenic plutonic deposits. Framework evolution mineralization defined by geotectonic intraplate — not plate-margin – setting Meseta its palaeogeographical structural development during modified regional local factors, foremost among which heat mass transfer. Metallogenetic provinces epochs distinguished, metallotects outlined, possible sources introduced ore elements discussed.
